A cross-flow fan is a fluid that cross-flow fan through the fan impeller twice, the fluid flows in the radial direction and then flows out in the radial direction. What is the structure of a cross-flow fan?

The cross-flow fan is mainly composed of three parts: impeller, air duct, and motor.

The impeller material is generally aluminum alloy or engineering plastics. The aluminum alloy impeller has high strength, lightweight, high-temperature resistance, and can maintain stable operation without deformation; the plastic impeller is injection molded from a mold and then welded by ultrasonic waves. It is generally used in applications with low speed and has a larger diameter.

The air duct is generally formed by stamping and forming of thin metal plates, and can also be cast in plastic or aluminum alloy. The casing adopts a streamlined design, which can effectively reduce the loss of airflow and greatly improve the working efficiency of the cross-flow fan.

The motor is the power part of the cross-flow fan, which can be powered by AC or DC. AC power supply mainly includes shaded pole motors and capacitor starter motors, while DC power supply is DC brushless motors. The drive motor and the impeller are generally installed flexibly and fixed on the air duct.
